Newborn session :: 1 month new :: Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer

Hellooooo cutie pie! This baby and her mom came over for her newborn photos. This was the first session I did in my own home studio and I loved the lighting! She was an older baby but we were still able to get some cute poseable shots in. It took her a bit to fall asleep but once she was all wrapped up, she was good to go. I love this age as their skin gets smoother and they always seem a little chunkier than the brand new babies. =) Love! Love! Love!

Sweet Jordan Isabella's newborn portrait session :: Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer

WOW! That word about sums up Jordan's session. She is just SO stinkin cute and I not only loved photographing her, but I actually enjoyed editing her gallery because she was just gorgeous to look at. I met her mom and dad during their maternity session and they are going to be some great parents!!

Double the giggles, double the grins, double the love, and double the work! Twin newborn session & cuteness overload! :: Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to meet this mom and dad during their maternity session and could not wait for the little girls to be born! These twins were so fun to work with during their newborn session and slept so well for me.  The minute you laid them together, they immediately relaxed as if they were already BFF's.

It was hard to pick my favorites as there were so many but I wanted display the pics that really showed their bonding between each other.

Baby Brooke and Baby Charley - You were fantastic models and are going to bring such joy and maybe hard work to your parents over the years! =)

I'm a twin myself so I KNOW they joys and the...um... screaming, yelling, pulling hair, etc...  But it's all worth it!

I can't wait to see them grow up and what their personalities will be like. Can you imagine how cute they'd be at a 1 year old cake smash session???

My youngest turns 3 *sniff* :: Colorado Springs Children Photographer :: Photography by Melissa J

Its so hard to believe that it's already been 3 years since my youngest was born! He is such an adventure to be around every single day. He looks up to his brother so much and I can't wait to see how good he is when he becomes a big brother this June. I don't think he quite understands that he'll no longer be the baby but he knows there's something going on with mama's belly.

Being a photographer, my kids see me all the time with a camera in my hand so you think they'd run when it's their turn to be photographed, but I am lucky, as they are hams in front of the camera. Actually, they're hams all the time!

Armando is the comedian of the family and keeps us entertained with his constant silliness.
